It is a plug that goes into a socket that allows you to control your lamps and electrical appliances remotely upto 20 metres. You simply plug the receiver socket into the wall and plug whatever you want to control in to the socket. When you press button '1' on the remote, socket 1 switches on and when you press it again the same socket goes off. One remote can control upto three (3) remote controlled sockets.
